Jameel Yousiff
Entering his sophomore year at Glendale, Jameel Yousif will be looking to lead his team to a long playoff run, and a shot at a national title. Last season Yousif scored 163 points, averaged 2.5 rebounds per game, and was one of the leading three point specialists in 30 games played for the Gauchos. This season, Glendale has only played two games, but Yousif has scored 14 points, and is one of the leading rebounders on the team averaging three per game, which is pretty much unheard of with Yousif playing at the guard position. With his height being at 6’4, he is a pretty tall defender, and will look to improve his total rebounds as the season progresses. Yousif is a Sports medicine major at Glendale. Yousif will be looking to help the Gauchos return to the regional playoffs once again this season using his agility and rebounding abilities.

Colette Siroky

Glendale volleyball player Colette Siroky entered this season as a sophomore, playing the position of libero. Last season as a freshman, Siroky helped lead the Gauchos to the National Division two Volleyball tournament, coming up just shy of winning it all, finishing in third. Even though this season didn’t go as planned for the Gauchos, as they missed out on the opportunity to make it back to nationals, Siroky led the team with 26 aces on the year, and a total of 394 digs on the year. If Glendale head coach, Lisa Stuck ever needed someone to step it up for the team and get a serious game altering serve across the net, Siroky was the one you could count on. This season, Siroky led Glendale to an overall record of (13-13) and an ACCAC Conference record of (7-9) on the year.
